I wonder how normal it is to find bugs in your own bed? | Period: 28th of August - 2nd of September 2024 My partner and I went to the ALGS Playoffs in Mannheim, Germany. We chose this hotel because it was close to SAP Arena and the price was affordable. I have been to hotels of 3,4 and 5 stars before and I am very dissatisfied with how a 4 star hotel presented itself. First of all, they had issues with a possible infestation as we found bugs in our room. They even have a sign at the entrance, mentioning they are harmless and they come from outside and nothing can be done about it. I wonder how normal it is to find bugs in your own bed? Secondly, they didn?t have a fridge available, only for premium rooms and there was also no kettle available. Thirdly, the AC wasn?t working properly; one of the elevators was also broken and wouldn?t go down to the ground floor, but only the 2nd floor. The hallway wasn?t looking great given that it is a 4 star hotel. The breakfast is expensive, around 20?/pers. We didn?t have it included because we thought it is ridiculously overpriced, especially considering the issues they have. A message for the management: Please listen to the feedback of your customers as I am sure we are not the only ones complaining about the issues we have found. You?d need to level up your game if you want to remain on the market. |
